This is just a re-cap of all the photos I took in November and a visual reminder of all the things I'm grateful for!

These are the final photos from the November gratitude photo challenge!
COMFORT. This is my tshirt quilt that my mom made me from all of my old high school and college tshirts. It's comforting in many ways. It's warm and made from love and is filled with so much history it's great having all those memories in one blanket.
ART. I made this advent calendar for my mom. It was super fun to create since I love hands on craft art projects.
LOVE. I have to end with one of my kitties together. They're super sweet (sometimes) to each other am its so cute.
So I did keep up with the photo challenge in November but I did get behind on posting them on my blog. So here's a few more:
BEAUTY. Living in DC I get to be around the big city but there is still a lot of beautiful outdoor areas. One fun thing to see each year are the blooming cherry blossoms. I've been there for the past two years but haven't seen them in full bloom in daylight yet so this is from a night shot. Maybe 2013 will be my lucky year!
TRADITION. All of the holiday traditions make this time of the year my favorite! A new one that we've started the past few years is Black Friday shopping. However it's not the early morning crazy experience that others partake in. We have started going at around 8am so the crowds are gone and we get to sleep in somewhat but still get some great deals. It's a fun time to hang out with the girls in the family and some extra bonding time!
SOUND. One of my favorite sounds is the ocean! It was the best living close to it in San Francisco and I really miss it, noise machines don't do it justice! I could sit by the ocean for hours just listening to the waves relaxing.
HOME. I think the picture is self explanatory! But I do love visiting my hometown and getting to spend time catching up with old friends. COLOR. Colorful food is super exciting especially these lovely macaroons! ENERGY. I never used to be a caffeine love but in recent years I've become hooked to coffee. I drink it every which way but NOTHING beats a perfect iced latte on a warm day (especially if made with whole milk). ADVENTURE. Exploring new places is so much fun I love jet-setting around the world, there are so many places I want to see and I got to check off a new state this week when I visited Denver, CO.
