So now that it is starting to feel like fall I decided to start brainstorming some fun things I want to do in the upcoming months. There is a lot I love about fall but I am a little sad at the thought of summer being over. I love the heat and sun and EVERYTHING summer related plus this year mine was a little less "summery" so I wish it would last longer but oh well now on to fall and finding ways to make it awesome (and not think about the fact winter will be here soon yikes!) So below is my fall "bucket list" hopefully I can get to most of it and enjoy lots of fall themed stuff once the weather gets chilly and the leaves start changing.

Currently... sick of this snowy weather especially now that it's March (even if it does look pretty) Currently... want to retire my winter coat and hat for a few or more months please! Currently... loving creamer again and impulsively bought some candy flavored creamer, almost makes the long winter bearable sipping hot coffee that tastes like an almond joy Currently... doubling up my workouts a few days and love feeling the calorie burn #summeriscoming Currently... had an iced latte when it felt like spring the other day (such a tease!) Currently... dreaming of vacation but a little worried it won't be warm So I've been reflecting on my sugar detox and just food and health in general and it's pretty crazy the changes I've made in my life. I remember a time not that long ago where I wouldn't touch "green" food except green beans and now I love salads and spinach and even starting to come around on peas (what?! that's crazy). On my sugar detox the yes/no foods were somewhat strict and some of the regular foods that I eat and are pretty healthy were actually not allowed. And the funny thing is I started craving these foods and not all the candy and other sugary treats I couldn't have. Just for an idea here's what I missed: fruit greek yogurt beans quinoa corn hummus It's a pretty random list but years ago I would've laughed at the thought of craving or missing those things from my food options. But I'm much healthier now and happy about that, that's it for now! |
